Week 11: Come Together

This has been a successful week at Clover Connection Consulting. We are in a good flow. Everyone is more comfortable in their jobs. Some might ask, what changed? Our group dynamic has changed for the better. Last week, our blog discussed our changes in leadership. Well, we are now seeing results. The Clover Connection Consulting team has transformed and your team can come together too. Keep reading for some helpful tips on bringing a group together.
The most important thing in team building is open two way communication. This is part of our mission statement at CCC. We promote a positive company culture by allowing our team to express their feelings. We take surveys every class where team member are encouraged to write about positive things happening and concerns. The following class we go over the answers from the surveys. Honesty is essential to the success of the feedback surveys. This is the tricky part. You have to be willing to be honest. If someone isn't pulling their weight, they need to correct that behavior.
Another tip to creating a cohesive team is getting to know each other outside of work. At the beginning of each meeting, we do an ice breaker. The ice breaker normally gets us talking about our interests, hobbies, and what is going on in our lives. Our team really enjoys hearing about each other. I am starting to feel like these people will be lifelong friends just like Problems in PR alumni said it would be.
